i wanted to know what the guys think a woman should do to get their attention . . .

but since lynn is waiting for my thoughts on this matter . . .
so here it is . . .

When a woman is attracted to a man, prevalently, first thoughts that comes into mind are: "When is he going to make the first move?"; "Why won’t he come over and say hello?"

I, myself don't deny the fact that i do think of these thoughts @ times . . . waiting for the guy to make the first move . . . However, there are also times when i would encourage myself and confidently tell ME: "Why don’t you go over and tell him yourself?"

I think . . . guys have these thoughts on their mind too: "Why do most females think it’s the man’s duty to make a first move?" "Don’t you know some guys admire a girl who uses her initiative?

@ present time, I think it is not wrong to make the first move as long as it is done in a respectful manner. More so, i think it would show assertiveness, the willingness on the woman's side. Another thing, this would also be especially helpful to shy or choosy guys who don’t want to go forward for fear of rejection, not knowing what they are getting into, or some other horrible perception.

Women today are viewed as independent individuals and knows what she is about. I think it wouldn't do some harm to put our foot forward and command the power we deserve. Then take hold of the men who will treat us well and give up their lives to make us happy.

So women . . . make the first move and don’t stop till you find a good man!

I agree with you Danielle, although my dating days are long gone,and being from an entirely different generation, I wouldn't be a good adviser on this matter. But I do know that guys would rather have the women make the first move, or at least to show some interest in the guy,to help give the guy some assurance of her feelings towards him. And it is true there are guys who just can't accept rejection.

But women have to be very careful in doing this, because the majority of guys are only looking for a one night stand, and that's it, so a girl has to know just how far she wants to go with a guy. A good clean, friendly relation always helps to know what kind of person you are dealing with, and it works both ways. I've seen so many unhappy marriages and so many divorces on account of people rushing in and jumping into something that they just are not prepared for. And the worst part of all this, is the children, they are the one's that take the consequences. And that is unfair...Ooops I might have gotten off track a little. But well I've seen it happen time and time again, and I'm sure it will go on and on.
