for all your hate and treason

and your lack of alibis.

For all our voiceless screams
and a life of empty dreams
for all the endless nights
of brutal, needless fights.

For the hours spent alone
in a house that wasn't home
for every drink you take
then call me a mistake.

For making mommy cry
then just saying good-bye
no food on the shelves
us kids fending for ourselves.

Stealing food stamps from the mail
our lives one confusing hell
a house that has no lights
or water in the pipes.

Too afraid to stay
so we all ran away
where did we run you ask
we ran behind your mask.

We found drugs and alcohol
the answer to it all
I guess you were no fool
cuz now we're just like you.

No longer can we place blame
we have championed the game
obeying all your rules
and using all your tools.

The apples fell too near the tree
we have fulfilled our destiny
praying only for the grave
to the high we all are slave
