Give It Away

Give away far more than anyone could ever give to you.
Give away Love. Give away Grace.
Give away Forgiveness.

I Wish I could tell you all of this will be easy...
That I just started one day and whoosh, my life changed...
That I gave away everything I knew and learned.

Sorry, that's not how it worked out.
Every day is a challenge, just like my walk.
So, everyday I take one more step forward.

Today, I can look back and see how one step at a time has brought me this far.
Then I turn and look in front of me and I am humbled.
I see how far I have to go. So, I take another step forward.

I know in my heart that I need to be even more generous.
It's easier said than done, I guess.
For now, I'll just keep working at giving away love, grace, forgiveness and sharing it all with others.

Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone practiced this in their everyday life? It would certainly be a different world than the one we are living in now!
